Ethereum DeFi giants join forces to form EPAA Advocacy Alliance

According to Cointelegraph, major DeFi protocols in the Ethereum ecosystem include Aave Labs, Curve, Lido Labs, and the Uniswap Foundation, among others, to jointly form the Ethereum Protocol Advocacy Alliance (EPAA), which aims to coordinate policy efforts and educate lawmakers about the Ethereum ecosystem. The alliance emphasizes that the importance of the establishment lies in balancing the "excessive influence" of centralized crypto entities in policy making. EPAA, which has received support from the Ethereum Foundation, will interact with policymakers in four ways by contributing technical expertise, producing practical resources, coordinating strategic engagement, and identifying areas of common technical interest. It is reported that these agreements jointly safeguard the security of non-custodial assets exceeding $100 billion.
