According to VanEck research data, Japan has joined the ranks of global government-backed mining countries, becoming the 11th country (excluding the United States) to officially support bitcoin mining. The trend has continued to grow since 2020, with participating countries including Iran, Bhutan, El Salvador, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Ethiopia, Argentina, Kenya, France, and Russia.
