According to CoinDesk, RLUSD, the US dollar stablecoin issued by Ripple, broke through 1 billion US dollars in less than a year after its launch, ranking 10th among US dollar stablecoins.
Issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, the tokens are held in US dollars and short-term US bonds, and have been integrated into Ripple's payment and liquidity system. The current liquidity is about $819 million Ethereum and $203 million XRPLedger; Ripple says it has processed nearly $100 billion in cumulative payments, and RLUSD is the main settlement stablecoin.
