Harvest International CEO Han Tongli revealed that the company is preparing to issue collateralized financial products based on cryptocurrency spot ETFs. At this stage, the goal is to strive for the trading volume of its cryptocurrency spot ETFs to reach the first place in Hong Kong by the end of this year. According to the data, Harvest International's cryptocurrency spot ETFs ranked second among three fund companies in terms of first-day trading volume, with China Asset Management Company (ChinaAMC) ranking first.
Han Tongli said that many investors are still standing on the sidelines due to doubts about Hong Kong's virtual asset commitment, which has put pressure on the trading volume of cryptocurrency spot ETFs. However, Han Tongli added that he is confident that Hong Kong's cryptocurrency ETFs can grow to twice the size of US products, but he did not mention when this milestone will be achieved.
