Chief strategist Nick Carr said Stand With Crypto, an advocacy group backed by Coinbase, is entering the field of campaign finance by opening its own political action committee (PAC). The first backers of the committee will include five candidates seeking vacant seats in the U.S. House and Senate, though funding will have to wait. The Stand With Crypto effort is an "affiliate PAC," meaning it is backed by the nonprofit's own members, each of whom has a $5,000 donation limit.
