Bitcoin fell as much as 7.4 percent on Tuesday, falling below the $100,000 mark for the first time since June, according to Bloomberg. Long-term bitcoin holders have dumped about 400,000 bitcoins in the past month, equivalent to about $45 billion in outflows, unbalancing the market. The decline has been driven largely by the ongoing sell-off in the cash market, which has focused on long-term holders who have opted to sell.
