Cathie Wood buys crypto trading platform Bullish stock for $12 million

On November 4th, according to the transaction disclosure of Ark Invest, Cathie Wood, the founder of its fund, bought the shares of Bullish Holdings (NYSE: BLSH), a crypto trading platform operator, through three ETFs, with a total value of more than 12 million US dollars. The increase in holdings includes: 164,214 shares in the flagship fund ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), 49,056 shares in the Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and 25,076 shares in the Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF). Bullish is backed by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel. It is a hybrid crypto trading platform for institutional investors and is the parent company of CoinDesk. The stock closed at $50.26 and was trading at $49.15 after hours, giving it a market capitalization of about $7.35 billion, close to its low range for the year. Bullish is expected to report its third-quarter 2025 earnings on November 19.
