According to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, U.S. House Agriculture Committee Chairperson Glenn "GT" Thompson met with Acting Chairperson of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Caroline D. Pham on Thursday to discuss how the commodities regulator will prepare for expanding its crypto regulatory authority and advancing relevant rulemaking next year - a move based on expectations that market structure-related bills will pass.
