According to Reuters, Australia's corporate regulator said on the 29th that the Federal Court of Australia has barred the failed cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain Global director Ryan Xu (Ryan Xu is HCash founder and nicknamed "Martian" Xu Zijing) from leaving Australia before December 20. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is currently investigating the links between Ryan Xu and the cryptocurrency trading platform ACX Exchange operated by Blockchain Global. ACX Exchange collapsed around December 2019 and began to face problems withdrawing funds or cryptocurrencies from accounts. ASIC began investigating the company in January 2024 after the company's liquidators filed a report that Blockchain Global owed unsecured creditors about AUD 58 million (USD 37.30 million) as of October 2, 2023. According to the ASIC website, Ryan Xu is the third person to be investigated by Blockchain Global. Previously, two other Chinese directors of Blockchain Global, Allan Guo and Samuel Xue Lee, were also restricted by ASIC from leaving the country.
