According to people familiar with the matter, Intel is in talks to acquire artificial intelligence chipmaker SambaNova. SambaNova has previously worked with bankers to evaluate the intentions of potential acquirers. The report said that any deal could value SambaNova at a lower valuation than the $5 billion it received in its 2021 financing round.
