5月10日讯，昨日晚间，一则关于“内地个人投资者投资港股需缴纳的红利税或被考虑减免”的消息在业内快速流传。不过，此事未获得官方证实。有香港的投资人表示，这对于港股是重大利好，目前业内对此亦抱有较大期待，因为这个税此前的确比较高。若利好兑现，港股的涨幅相对A股可能会扩大，AH溢价指数有可能回到120的水平。
