香港证监会告诫公众，提防一家名为“VEX/火山交易所”的实体，该实体涉嫌从事虚拟资产相关欺诈活动，且已将其及其网站列入警示名单。香港证监会补充称，VEX或火山交易所声称为在香港营运的持牌虚拟资产交易平台，但并未获得证监会牌照。该实体亦讹称在香港与一家获证监会发牌的公司合作，但该持牌法团已确认与其无任何关系。
