BitGo has added custody support for Canton Network, a crypto infrastructure provider that allows institutional investors to securely hold and manage Canton Network's native tokens. On October 29, BitGo announced compliance custody for Canton Coin (CC) for institutional clients, noting that the move makes the platform the first U.S. compliance custodian to offer custody for CC.
The expansion follows shortly after the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) approved BitGo, Ripple and Coinbase as compliance custodians.
