A number of institutions agreed on the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut expectations. Bank of America expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates by 25 basis points in October and is the only major brokerage to predict only one rate cut this year. Citigroup, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase and others all predict a 25 basis point rate cut in October and another 25 basis points in December.
