Dragonfly partner: abandoned investment after hearing rumors of sexual harassment by Eclipse founder, questioning actual investor due diligence

On May 10th, Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi said on social platforms that Dragonfly had heard rumors that the founder of the Eclipse project, Neel Salami, had a history of sexual harassment when it first conducted due diligence on the Eclipse project, so it was quickly decided not to invest. Haseeb questioned that if Dragonfly had heard the rumor with only minimal due diligence, then it was impossible for the actual investors not to have heard it. Haseeb believes that although it was just a rumor at the time and Dragonfly did not investigate in depth, from everything they heard, it seems that this is Neel's behavior pattern for a long time. Haseeb is dismissive of the fact that the Eclipse project was able to obtain financing and that Neel was able to raise millions of dollars through the secondary market during the pre-launch phase of the project, and emphasizes that the crypto industry will not tolerate such behavior.
