On October 29th, according to CNBC, Donald Trump Jr., Trump's eldest son, founded a private club called "Executive Branch" (Executive Branch) in Washington in April this year. The membership fee is as high as $500,000. The founding members include White House crypto consultant David Sacks, crypto trading platform Gemini co-creation Winklevoss brothers, and technology investor Chamath Palihapitiya. The club only accepts founder recommendations and strictly screens applications for membership. "Executive Branch" was co-founded by Donald Trump Jr., an investment firm where Trump Jr. became a partner last year.
In addition to the $500,000 membership fee, the club will charge an undisclosed annual fee, according to people familiar with the matter. The Executive Branch's role in Washington's sociopolitical circles is likely to be similar to that of the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., during the first Trump administration. The Trump Hotel was once a popular meeting place for government officials, Republican congressional leaders, and foreign dignitaries, lobbyists, and business leaders. Potential members of the club must be carefully vetted and approved by the founders, and while some potential members are willing to pay $1 million to join, membership still requires referrals and rigorous screening.
