Robinhood to launch futures trading service for UK clients

Robinhood has announced the launch of a futures trading service for UK clients, enabling users to trade index, energy, metals and FX futures directly through its app and desktop platform, Robinhood Legend, FinanceFeeds reports. The service will offer more than 40 CME Group futures products for a contract fee of just $0.75 and provide real-time market data free of charge. The move aims to break the traditional restriction of futures trading to institutional investors and provide retail traders with easier and lower-cost access to futures markets. Jordan Sinclair, president of Robinhood UK, said: "In the UK, futures trading has traditionally been seen as the exclusive domain of institutional investors. Today, we are starting to change that."
