Binance CEO: Nigerian Officials Demanded 150 million Dollar in Bribes

Binance CEO Richard Teng has been silent about the legal crisis in Nigeria for the past few months, but today issued a statement on the charges against Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan in Nigeria, saying that unidentified individuals had contacted employees of the exchange and suggested a payment to resolve the allegations. According to DLNews, Nigerian officials have demanded cryptocurrency bribes that could be as high as $150 million from Binance. Richard Teng said in a statement that the lawyers involved were required to make large payments in cryptocurrency secretly within 48 hours.
