Uniswap Foundation Grants Up to $9 million to Brevis to Build Trustless Routing Rebate Program

On October 24th, the Uniswap Foundation announced a grant of up to $9 million to Brevis, aiming to build a trustless Gas Rebate program for DEX aggregators integrating Uniswap v4 Hooked pools. It is reported that the system will use Brevis' ZK Data Coprocessor (ZK Data Coprocessor) and Pico zkVM technology to complete the calculation and cryptographic verification of rebate off-chain, ensuring that the rebate process is fully verifiable and does not require centralized tracking. This mechanism accelerates the application and expansion of the Uniswap v4 ecosystem while maintaining the trustless nature of DeFi by providing economic incentives for routers to prioritize the integration of Hook functions.
