Digital money transfer service provider Zepz (which owns WorldRemit and Sendwave) has launched a new crypto wallet, Sendwave Wallet, on the Solana blockchain. Zepz said in a press release that the wallet will offer cross-border transfer services through stablecoins and will be available to users in more than 100 countries around the world.
It is reported that Sendwave Wallet allows users to send, store and use USDC on the Solana network. This move signals that Zepz, which sends more than $15 billion a year, is expanding its service beyond traditional remittances.
In July, Zepz partnered with USDC issuer Circle to integrate stablecoin payments into everyday use cases.
