Blockchain.com, Revolut and Bitcoin app Relai announced that they have obtained a license from the European Union's Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA). Revolut will provide a full range of crypto asset services in 30 markets in the European Economic Area (EEA); Blockchain.com said that the license clarifies the regulatory path, scalable digital asset custody and institutional-grade tools; Relai plans to enter the French market first, and then expand to Europe. Stablecoin-focused Layer1 blockchain Plasma has been licensed by Italy's VASP and has established an office in Amsterdam. The MiCA license application is under way. This move marks the acceleration of compliance by major crypto companies under European crypto regulation.
