Sonic released a notice on the X platform saying: All nodes on the mainnet and testnet must be upgraded immediately to the 2.1.2 version to avoid disconnection. This version introduces native fee subsidies and key security improvements. It replaces the earlier v2.1 before the Sonic mainnet is fully upgraded to Pectra compatibility. It is suitable for validators, RPC providers, archive nodes, exchanges, other node operators. After the upgrade, nodes will continue to operate on the current mainnet until November 3, 2025.
