According to Bloomberg, industrial giant Siemens Group and digital asset market maker B2C2 have started using JPMorgan Chase's blockchain-based foreign exchange payment platform. According to reports, the service enables businesses to conduct cross-border foreign exchange transactions in dollars, pounds, and euros around the clock, enabling near-instant settlement. In contrast, corporate foreign exchange transfers using traditional channels are primarily served on weekdays, and it can take days to complete transactions.
