Robinhood CEO: Had 16 meetings with SEC before receiving Wells' notice from SEC

Robinhood CEO VladTenev revealed that 16 meetings had been held with the SEC in order to register as a special purpose broker-dealer supporting crypto assets before receiving the US SEC's WellsNotice, but unfortunately, no positive response was received. VladTenev added that regulators "told us they don't want to continue discussing this issue and they don't see a path to get there," noting that it was "difficult to understand" the reasons behind the SEC's decision.
