On May 9th, the administrative authority of Taiwan, China, today passed the new four laws of fraud to bring currency merchants into control. In the future, institutions or personnel providing virtual asset services and third-party payment services must complete money laundering prevention and control, service energy registration or login, otherwise the maximum penalty will be fixed-term imprisonment of not more than 2 years or a fine of not more than NT 5 million yuan. Institutions or personnel providing virtual asset services and third-party payment services outside Taiwan who do not register a company or branch in accordance with the Company Law and complete money laundering prevention and service energy registration or login shall not provide virtual asset services or third-party payment services in Taiwan.
