OpenSea CEO @dfinzer posted that it plans to launch SEA tokens in Quarter 1 in 2026. 50% of the supply will be distributed to the community, more than half of which will be received through initial claims, and both OG and participants participating in the OpenSea Rewards Program will receive meaningful rewards. In addition, 50% of the revenue at launch will be used to purchase SEA.
The launch of SEA will provide more practicality. SEA will be deeply integrated with OpenSea, including pledging SEA to users' favorite tokens and collectibles.
