U.S. stocks opened with the Dow up 0.05 percent, the S & P 500 index down 0.18 percent and the Nasdaq down 0.38 percent. Regional bank stocks rallied, with Western Bank (WAL. N) up 1.9 percent and Zions Bancorp up 2.9 percent. Trump said weight loss drug prices would fall, with Eli Lilly (LLY. N) down 3.7 percent and Novo Nordisk (NVO. N) down 4.1 percent. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index fell 1.3 percent.
