As gold climbed to a new all-time high of $4,357 an ounce on Thursday, its market capitalization hit a record $30 trillion, according to Cointelegraph. That means gold is now 14.5 times the market capitalization of bitcoin at about $2.10 trillion. It is also 1.5 times more valuable than the combined market capitalization of the world's "Big Seven" technology companies - Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Tesla - at about $20 trillion.
