On October 17, Guo Shougang, deputy director and first-level inspector of the First Division of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at the 2025 World Intelligent Networked Vehicle Conference on October 17 that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will study and formulate the development plan for the intelligent networked new energy vehicle industry in the 15th Five-Year Plan. At the same time, it will strengthen the supervision and management of the production consistency of vehicles equipped with combined driving assistance systems, standardize the OTA upgrade activities of enterprises, and compact the main responsibility of enterprises; accelerate the introduction of regulations on the management of motor vehicle production access, improve the enterprise exit mechanism, and ensure a good and healthy development environment for the industry; continue to improve the construction of standard systems in the fields of driver assistance systems, autonomous driving system functional safety, information security, data security, automotive electronics, intelligent cockpit, networked communication, artificial intelligence, etc.
