"Gold is eating into Bitcoin's market share," Peter Schiff, an economist and critic of cryptocurrencies, said in a social media post. "Bitcoin has fallen 32 per cent in gold terms since its August peak. This bear market is going to be brutal. It is recommended that holders sell Bitcoin and buy gold."
