On October 16th, Meituan announced that Meituan will add 2 billion yuan to help businesses, covering the previous takeaway merchants and extending to dine-in merchants, so that all kinds of good food and beverage stores can receive cash support and achieve long-term operation. In order to further promote the innovation and development of the industry, Meituan will continue to invest 300 million yuan in special project funds to encourage food and beverage merchants to explore new store types, new products and new services. Support merchants to practice new models of revenue increase such as satellite stores, takeaway self-pickup, and good meals. Meituan's exploration of innovative models also covers the field of food safety. In February this year, we took the lead in responding to user expectations and launched the "Mingchu Liangzao" back kitchen live broadcast. At present, 300,000 merchants have opened live broadcasts. On this basis, Meituan will add 500 million yuan "bright kitchen bright stove" subsidy, and work with merchants to create a new transparent kitchen infrastructure, so that food safety has become a new sign of catering.
