Thumzup Media, a Nasdaq-listed company where Donald Trump Jr., Trump's eldest son, invests in cryptocurrency reserves, is considering introducing Dogecoin (DOGE) payment rewards for users of its Thumzup app.
The app offers cash rewards for users to share advertisers' product content. Thumzup believes that using DOGE as an alternative payment option can reduce fees and improve settlement efficiency for cross-border micropayments.
Robert Steele, CEO of Thumzup, said in a statement: "Exploring the Dogecoin integration is an important next step in our efforts to build a scalable, low-friction rewards engine. If successful, this change will help improve our unit economics and increase our appeal to a broader community of cryptocurrency-embracing creators."
