On October 15th, the Ethereum Foundation officially released a reminder update saying that it noticed that some L2 deployments on Sepolia in the past few days were not working properly due to EIP-7549 changing the format of the proof.
In response to the Fusaka upgrade, all blob sponsors are urged to update their software to create Cell Proof instead of Blob Proof. The Ethereum Foundation added that L2 and other entities highly dependent on the Ethereum roadmap are encouraged to follow the ACD process and engage more directly with the community. Teams are also encouraged to deploy contracts and test infrastructure on the development network before migrating to the first testnet.
Another great way to stay updated is to use the Ethereum package provided by Kurtosis, which can be used to create local networks that comply with the latest specifications.
