Deutsche Bank: OpenAI's subscriber growth in Europe "stalled"

New data released by Deutsche Bank shows that user spending on ChatGPT has "stalled", with "the value of OpenAI subscriptions soaring from January 2023, but has been flat in key European markets over the past four months". OpenAI yesterday pledged $500 billion for 10 gigawatts of custom-designed chips from Broadcom, after also promising $1 trillion to work with Nvidia, AMD and Oracle. But analysts Adrian Cox and Stefan Abrudan said in a note to clients: "The archetypal representative of the artificial intelligence craze may struggle to recruit new subscribers."
