Bitfarms (BITF) has appointed Jonathan Mir, a former Lazard energy infrastructure specialist, as its chief financial officer, replacing Jeff Lucas, who is retiring. The move marks a further shift in the company's strategy from pure bitcoin mining to AI computing infrastructure. Mir will be responsible for executing the company's AI growth strategy in Pennsylvania, Quebec and central Washington.
