Ethereum stablecoin active level hits new high, weekly unique sending address breaks through 1 million

In 2025, stablecoins on Ethereum reached an average of 720,000 unique sending addresses per week, and the past two weeks have broken through the 1 million for the first time. This number has grown exponentially over the past year, with an average weekly increase of more than 1.7% since August 2024. The analysis points out that the growth is mainly driven by the increase in stablecoin adoption; in addition, perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and most physical asset tokenization (RWA) projects are funded in stablecoins, and each new application generates a large number of new addresses. Ethereum, as a primary settlement layer, captures the flow of deposits, rebalancing, and payments, which drives the increase in active addresses.
