On the afternoon of October 13, the Legislative Council Secretariat of Hong Kong released the latest issue of "Latest Developments in Fintech and Digital Assets in Hong Kong", introducing how Hong Kong has innovated and applied through technology in the fields of fintech, digital assets, green sustainable finance and cross-border finance in recent years, and summarizing the relevant discussions and suggestions of the Legislative Council. Looking to the future, members suggested to seek the support of the central government to develop offshore RMB stablecoins in Hong Kong, and dare to explore practices in emerging financial fields such as digital assets and cryptocurrencies, so as to play a good role as a "stablecoin testing ground".
