Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, wrote in support of Trump's policy of opening up 401k pension plans to invest in alternative assets. Kiyosaki pointed out that Trump allows 401k investments in "alternative investments", including real estate debt, physical gold and silver, and cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and Ethereum. The traditional stock and bond markets, controlled by wealthy investment bankers, hurt the working class through workers' 401ks, says Kiyosaki, noting that even Warren Buffett acknowledges that the baby boomers are hurting and that inflation will erode their 401k purchasing power. As an alternative investor, Kiyosaki says he has never held 401ks, mutual funds or ETFs, but invests from the perspective of business owners and investors in the cash flow quadrant. He says he will continue to buy gold, silver, bitcoin, Ethereum, oil and real estate.
