Rwanda's central bank continues to advance retail CBDC projects

The National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) has opened its just completed retail central bank digital currency (CBDC) feasibility study for public comment. BNR is considering launching a national digital currency that incorporates technological innovations and is tailored to local circumstances.
