A spokesperson for Nigeria's Ministry of Information, Rabiu Ibrahim, said that Binance CEO Richard Teng had made false bribery allegations against unidentified Nigerian government officials. Richard Teng said that an unidentified official had demanded payment of $150 million in cryptocurrency to settle an ongoing criminal investigation against the company. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Information said, "This claim by the Binance CEO lacks substance and is nothing more than a tactic to distract."
