Leap Therapeutics completes $58.88 million private placement to launch digital asset finance strategy

Biotech company Leap Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LPTX) today announced that it has completed a previously announced private placement led by Winklevoss Capital, raising $58,888,888 in cash to launch a digital asset finance strategy.
Winklevoss Capital will provide funding and strategic support to help Leap structure and execute its digital asset financial strategy. Under the Lead Investor Agreement, the Leap Board of Directors will increase to 12 members, and Winklevoss Capital will have the right to nominate two individuals to the Leap Board, one of whom will also serve as Chairperson of the Board. Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP will serve as legal counsel to Leap, and Cooley LLP will serve as legal counsel to Winklevoss Capital.
