Coinbase integrates decentralized exchange (DEX) trading capabilities on the Base network for US users
According to a blog post by the company, Coinbase announced the feature as early as August, when it was only available to selected users. On Wednesday (note: the original text does not specify the specific date, "Wednesday" is reserved here to conform to the original text), the function was officially launched to the public. Now, Coinbase users can trade tokens before they enter the traditional listing process of exchanges.
"Explore trading on millions of assets as soon as they go live without leaving the Coinbase app," Coinbase said in a post on its X platform (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday. "Decentralized exchange (DEX) trading is now available to all US users (except New York State)."
