Blockchain data and analytics firm Chainalysis has announced the inauguration of its headquarters for Southern Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and Africa in Dubai. According to the announcement, the analytics firm has been "actively engaging" with local government stakeholders to provide advice on practices that drive the development of regulation in the innovative cryptocurrency industry. The regional headquarters will enable the company to support emerging markets such as India, Africa and Central Asia. Nicola Buonanno, Vice President, Southern Region of Chainalysis EMEA, said that the UAE market is at a "tipping point" with institutional-scale transfers currently accounting for the "vast majority" of cryptocurrency activity in the country.
