Crypto firm OranjeBTC, which received investment from Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss brothers and bitcoin pioneer Adam Back, is planning to expand its bitcoin holdings and launch educational programs to promote the popularity of crypto assets after listing on the Brazilian stock exchange this week.
The company currently holds 3,675 bitcoins (about $455 million), ranking among the top 30 of the 345 institutions worldwide that have bitcoin on their balance sheets. Guilherme Gomes, CEO of OranjeBTC, said the company will combine its growing bitcoin reserves with the education sector, offering courses, events and training to promote the adoption of digital assets.
