Fed meeting notes will reveal officials' differences on rate cuts

The Federal Reserve is gradually approaching the key point of cutting interest rates again this year, and meeting notes to be released in the early hours of Thursday in Beijing time are expected to reveal the decision-making thinking of most officials on subsequent interest rate cuts. Last month's economic forecast showed that 10 Fed officials supported two more rate cuts this year, and another nine officials wanted to cut interest rates only once or stay put. Samuel Tombs, chief U.S. analyst at Panson Macro, said significant differences are expected in the meeting notes. (Jin Ten)
