Gold has the potential to rise further, according to a research report by ING. ING noted that the price of gold has reached an all-time high of $4,000 an ounce. Looking ahead, central banks are still buying, and China's central bank increased its gold holdings for the 11th consecutive month in September, despite gold prices hitting an all-time high, ING said. US President Donald Trump's trade war continues and geopolitical risks remain high, the group added. All of this points to further upside for gold, ING said.
