Bee Maps (formerly Hivemapper, Inc., now under a new brand name) has raised $32 million to scale its Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) mapping network. Participants in this funding round include Pantera Capital, LDA Capital, Borderless Capital and Ajna Capital.
At the same time as the fundraising, Bee Maps launched a new "Bee Membership" based on a subscription model to lower the barrier to participation for contributors.
