Analysis: Institutional investors are embracing "depreciation trading"

JPMorgan analysts are now calling bitcoin and gold "devaluation trades" and institutional investors are embracing devaluation trades, according to Anthony Pompliano, founder of ProCap, a bitcoin treasury company. Bitcoin holders, as well as gold holders, have been vocal about currency devaluation for years, but the difference now is that the big Financial Institutions Groups have recognised it. Bitcoin ETFs have seen record inflows. Gold has risen more than 50 per cent this year and the next 12 weeks will be very interesting for bitcoin holders.
