Ethereum co-creator Joseph Lubin said in a post on the X platform that the MetaMask reward has been hotly debated in the community. It is currently in the early stage of the concept prototype and has not yet been officially launched. The first quarter may use various forms to issue rewards worth more than 30 million US dollars to users, including LINEA tokens to support on-chain activities, starting with Linea, expanding to MetaMask, and soon expanding to DIN (Infura's decentralized infrastructure project), and even more. In addition, for old users, in addition to the first season rewards, they can also seek rewards in the upcoming MetaMask TGE event.
