Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said BlackRock's Bitcoin Spot ETF (IBIT) and SPDR Gold ETF (GLD) were both in the top 10 of all ETFs by volume on Thursday (October 2), which he called a "rare phenomenon".
Balchunas believes that this shows that investors are actively piling into "hard assets" that can resist the depreciation of fiat currencies.
According to the data, GLD's transaction volume yesterday was $4.88 billion, ranking fourth; IBIT's transaction volume was $3.21 billion, ranking seventh.
